About Dustin

“My mission is investing in people and empowering them to succeed.”

I am a retired U.S. Air Force veteran with 20 years of leadership experience as a Mental Health Technician and First Sergeant, specializing in trauma, addiction, and crisis intervention. I hold a B.A. in Management with a Human Resources concentration from American Military University and two A.A.S. degrees from the Community College of the Air Force in Aeronautics and Mental Health Services.

With 13 years as a mental health professional and certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor, I have led multiple treatment facilities, ensuring high-quality care while optimizing operations and empowering teams. My expertise includes SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) Mental Health, where I provided psychological assessments and crisis support in high-stress environments.

Beyond my career, I am passionate about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling, both as a competitor and coach, helping instill resilience and discipline in others. As a Tap Cancer Out Ambassador, I have raised over $28,000 for cancer research. Now transitioning into Training & Development, HR, and Talent Acquisition, I am eager to apply my leadership experience to cultivate growth, learning, and a strong organizational culture.
