About Amalia
“When worry and self-doubt take over, it’s easy to feel alone—but you’re not. Many of us face these same struggles, and it’s important to acknowledge that we’re all on this journey together. Life can feel messy and uncertain, and it’s okay not to have all the answers. You are not defined by your struggles—you are a valuable person seeking connection and meaning.”
I’m here to offer support and guidance as you navigate these challenges. Together, we can cultivate self-compassion, build resilience, and find a path that aligns with your values and goals. Change is possible, and you deserve the support to make it happen.
With over a decade of experience, I have supported individuals, families, and couples in various settings, helping clients thrive in their personal and relational lives. I take an eclectic therapeutic approach, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Client-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Informed Practices, and Solution-Focused Therapy to tailor support to your unique needs.
I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio Graduate School and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
Together, we’ll identify the barriers holding you back and create a clear, step-by-step plan to help you move forward. I’m here to help you become the empowered, confident version of yourself that you deserve to be.
