In this training, Dr. Justin Lockhart, PhD, LPC, NCC, will discuss the current landscape of mental healthcare for men and boys, as well as the unique biopsychosocial factors mental healthcare professionals should consider when providing care. Dr. Lockhart will also provide guidance on trauma-informed care for male clients, along with examples of effective clinical interventions from current research and his own clinical practice. Dr. Lockhart is the owner of Lockhart Counseling & Consulting, PLLC, a practice specializing in counseling services for men, adolescent boys, and LGBTQ+ clients.
