I am a Licensed Master Social Worker and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern in Texas, currently working toward my Clinical Social Work license. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Child and Family Studies from the University of Tennessee Knoxville, my Master of Social Work with a concentration in cultural competency from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a second Master’s degree in Human Services with a focus on social and community services from Capella University.

With more than 15 years of experience, I have supported children, families, and adults through trauma, substance use, and medical challenges. I also draw on my knowledge of the child protective services system to help clients feel guided and supported during difficult times.

My approach to therapy is strengths-based, person-centered, and collaborative. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives, and I work alongside them to create meaningful goals for growth and healing. Drawing from evidence-based practices—including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)—I adapt treatment to meet the unique needs of each individual, couple, or family.

I work with clients ages seven through adulthood, including individuals, couples, and families. I affirm all genders and identities, and provide an inclusive, safe space for members of the LGBTQ+ community, including those who identify as transgender, gender non-conforming, and gender fluid.
